Autumn in Switzerland

In my two previous thread already explain about Spring and Summer season in Switzerland, and now we start to talk about the romantic vivid colours in switzerland and it’s called “Autumn Time”. Autumn in Switzerland paints the country in a breathtaking display of color, transforming its landscapes into a masterpiece. During Autumn is a magical time when the landscape transforms into a breathtaking tapestry of vibrant colors, offering a unique blend of outdoor activities, cultural events, and culinary delights. Spanning from September to November, the Swiss autumn is characterised by crisp air, golden foliage, and a sense of tranquility as the country prepares for the winter ahead.

Autumn brings cooler temperatures to Switzerland as summer transitions into winter. Daytime temperatures typically range from around 10 to 20 degrees Celsius (50 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit), although it can feel cooler in higher altitudes. Be prepared for occasional rain showers, which are more frequent towards November. Pack a light rain jacket or a travel umbrella to stay comfortable. Nights become progressively colder, especially in mountainous regions, so it’s advisable to dress in layers. While autumn days are generally sunny and pleasant, rainfall becomes more frequent as the season progresses, adding to the beauty of the landscape.

If our are a good driving mood, then there are several Pass to visit and will offer you a spectacular scenic of Switzerland mountains, and some of them as in below :

It connects the cantons of Uri and Valais and offers stunning views of glaciers, mountain peaks, and lush valleys.
