Yesterday marked the grand opening of the Solothurn Baroque Days (Barocktage Solothurn), transforming the historic old town and surrounding estates into a vibrant, living stage of history, culture, and grand entertainment.
Running through August 16, this year’s festival offers an incredible week-long lineup designed for history enthusiasts, music lovers, and curious travelers alike.

Solothurn is widely celebrated as Switzerland’s most magnificent baroque town, making it the ultimate backdrop for a festival celebrating 18th-century lifestyle.
